Hurry Back Nick Young!

Just when it looks like the L.A Lakers are getting their stuff together Nick Young goes and tears a ligament in his thumb.
According to reports he'll be out for close to 2 months of action. Of course that does not include rehabilitation.
It could be close to Christmas before we see Swaggy P back in uniform for the Lakers.

The team and city were looking forward to injecting some young blood into the team that has been in the stranglehold of Kobe Bryant for years.
No one here wants to admit it but, all of us here in LA ... we're sick of Kobe.

Los Angeles is a city of larger-than-life personalities and that is something Kobe is not.
The last time three was anything note-worthy about Kobe that happened off court, was after his “visit” to Colorado - and all that did was shine a negative light on himself and the franchise.

He is the NBA's version of Derek Jeter (other than that pesky rape trial thing).

Kobe doesn't like to engage in public trash talk, rarely speaks out against the league or really lets you know what's on his mind.

Even when Shaq called out Kobe and asked him how his ass tastes, Kobe just took the high road and zipped his lip.

Nick Young is the cheerful burst of energy that this team needs. In many ways, he's the anti-Kobe.  Young, vibrant, out-spoken and happy to go against the trend.

Perhaps that's why Kobe and Swaggy have been battling each other so hard during training camp.

What makes me nervous about Young is that he's bounced around the league quite a bit - and that is generally not a very good sign.
I'm afraid that for the right amount of money he'll bounce, or his brash attitude will get his ass shipped out of town. And then I won't get to check out his hot girlfriend.

Yes, I'm taking about Iggy Azalea.

Young is dating this hot piece of thunder from down under and I was looking forward to seeing pictures of her sitting in the front row in short skirts. She's like Beyonce, Shakira, or the ocean to me: nice to look at but I don't want to hear them.

Hopefully his thumb heals up fine. I've broken a finger before but that just made it harder to write, draw, and bath. I don't do anything close to what could be considered a sport.
