Respected basketball reporter Darnell Mayberry of the Oklamoan News has reported that after a sitdown interview with reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant, the only note-worthy piece of news he was able to garner was Durant's sobbing admission that he cannot palm an NBA basketball.
In a related story, studies show that palming a basketball has nothing to do with being a good basketball player.
Durant also clarified his statement to Mayberry by stating he could palm a ball in high school and in college but not in the NBA.
When The Bench contacted Mr. Durant to inform him that high school, college and NBA basketballs all meaure 29.5", Mr. Durant replied with, "shit. aite I lied".
Mayberry's investigative reporting didn't stop there though. He managed to uncover many other things that the MVP cannot do, yet inexplicably do not hamper him on the basketball court.
