Wesley Matthews will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles tendon.
Matthews was injured in the third quarter of the Portland Trail Blazers' win on Thursday over the Dallas Mavericks.
Matthews crumpled to the floor upon making a move to the basket. He had a streak of 250 consecutive games played end on Dec. 10, 2012, only to start a second streak of 142 games that will end now.
The Blazers made a deadline deal for Arron Afflalo, who will move to the starting lineup.
Matthews will be a free agent this offseason.
